Hearing of the threats made against elected officials – where several report feeling as though they had a gun to their heads with no choice but to certify – reminds me of the “SHAM REFERENDUM!” in the former Soviet Union earlier this year.
When I went back and looked at the coverage, the conduct of that “sham” election is remarkably similar to what we are witnessing in Arizona.

Since it’s impossible to find real news with which to compare, I took a stab at telling the story of Arizona with facts, using similar narrative tactics as the respected, authoritative Associated Press — for comparison’s sake.
Voting begins in ‘rigged’ referendum to join Russia in occupied parts of Ukraine

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Voting began Friday on whether occupied regions of Ukraine should become part of Russia, in referendums that Kyiv and the West condemned as an illegitimate and rigged attempt by Moscow to annex areas in the east and south after nearly seven months of war.
The Kremlin-orchestrated referendums in the Luhansk, Kherson, and partly Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions asked residents if they want the areas to be part of Russia. The voting overseen by Moscow-installed authorities, scheduled to run through Tuesday, is almost certain to go the Kremlin’s way.
Final county certifies ‘rigged’ midterm elections in Arizona (December 01, 2022)
COCHISE COUNTY, Arizona (Conservative Daily) — County Supervisors voted 2-1 to certify the results of the Arizona midterm elections, the annual ceremony that 57% of the electorate condemned as an illegitimate and rigged attempt by the DC uniparty establishment to prevent investigations into decades of inter-state and international corruption.
The Hobbs-orchestrated elections in all 15 Arizona counties, including uniparty-controlled Maricopa and Pima counties, asked citizens to select their representation for state and local offices. The “voting” overseen by Soros- and Zuckerberg-installed authorities, took place for 25 days, from October 12, 2022 to November 8, 2022, is almost certain to go the Global Corporate Communists’ way.
Associated Press: Ukraine and the West have denounced the vote as a sham and an illegitimate step toward annexation of a large slice of the country from the Russian border to the Crimean Peninsula. A similar referendum took place in Crimea in 2014 before Moscow annexed it, a move that most of the world considered illegal.
Election officials planned to bring ballots to homes and set up makeshift polling stations near residential buildings in the first four days of voting, according to Russian-installed officials in the occupied regions, who cited safety reasons. Russian state TV on Friday morning showed teams of election officials going to residential neighborhood, with one such group accompanied by a masked police officer carrying an assault rifle.
Conservative Daily: Arizona Citizens and Americans around the nation have denounced the vote as a sham and an illegitimate step to prevent Kari Lake and the people from investigating, exposing, and prosecuting decades of corruption at the state and federal levels. A similar general election took place in Maricopa County in 2020 before the County defied subpoenas and obstructed the Senate’s audit, a move that most of the world considered illegal.
Maricopa Election officials brought ballots to Runbeck for counting on election night and set up unmonitored drop boxes all over the county for 25 days of early voting, according to Hobbs-installed officials in Maricopa, who cited safety reasons. MSM state TV showed teams of election officials loading Penski trucks with bags of ballots, with reported snipers with assault rifles on the roof of the MCTEC providing cover.
Associated Press: Ivan Fedorov, the Ukrainian mayor of Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhia region, told The Associated Press that Russians and residents of Crimea were brought into his city to urge people to vote.
Denis Pushilin, the separatist leader of the Moscow-backed authorities in the Donetsk region, called the referendum “a historical milestone.”
Conservative Daily: Tom Crosby, the lone Cochise County Supervisor to refuse certification, did not attend the final ceremony to certify the sham election results. Two hours earlier, Uniparty-appointed Pima County Superior Court Judge Casey McGinley compelled the officials to certify the election. “I don’t like to be threatened,” Supervisor Peggy Judd said before casting her vote to certify. This final certification comes after two Mohave County Supervisors stated on the record that they were “certifying under duress” due to pressure and threats of imprisonment from Hobbs and the Uniparty.
Maricopa County Officials Steven Richer and Bill Gates, called the midterm election “lawful and accurate.”
